Phlebotomy for Healthcare Professionals

The session starts with a theoretical component, followed by demonstrations and hands-on practice. Participants will use simulation arms with a maximum of two per arm and have ample time to practice on manikins. Once comfortable, you can practice taking blood from a consenting fellow participant.

Identify and describe the materials and equipment necessary for performing a phlebotomy procedure.
Understand the various acceptable and unacceptable phlebotomy sites.
Execute each step of the phlebotomy process with high mastery and efficiency.
